hey everybody, i haven't dropped off the face of the earth. just transitioning out of the shop, and going on vacation. (yes, vacation! whoop whoop!)
new designs are in process. all are very cool and a great price point to boot.
so while the selection may seem slim right now, have no fear, the next collection is being designed. it takes time to spin the yarn and knit them, everything is by hand and original. it's worth waiting for.
i'll keep posting on the blog, and will take some shots of garments in process of course. but new news is that Fall 2009-2010 is underway and being created. meanwhile, check out the sale items at www.wearmoa.com there are a couple of good buys!
much love,
JoAnne

now what
Hi everybody! We survived the move, which was a feat in and of itself. Turns out, moving sucks. Who knew? haha.
In shifting the shop to primarily online and trunk shows, etc, people have been asking me, "now what"? Please allow me to tell you the answer.
Now I will design more Moa HandKnits and keep working my little heart out to serve up beautiful things. Last year spring was not a huge collection, and I will continue on that theme of a small (yet exceptional) spring collection and then push on for next fall.
Meanwhile there is a fabulous spring sweater online, as well as a beautiful silk and wool wrap, plus several new spring slings that can toss around the neck for style and versitility.
Coming Friday, some lively pompom flowers that can be topped on a vintage knitting needle, or left as a wonderful puff all on its own. I love them all in a bowl, so imaginative and fun! Also they are smashing in a bouquet; everybody wants to squish them. So irresistible!
Additionally, jewelry is on sale 25% off, as of this second.
Go ahead and check out, I’ll reimburse you the difference. And tomorrow I will have the price adjustments.
Beyond the colorful juicy theme of spring, next fall and winter will also deliver true gratification.
For example, I’m working on a new sweater design, as well as big lush wraps that could replace a coat if you wanted to. These will be perfect with Storto's gloves, of course! Not to mention, there will be plenty of accessories for the head, neck, arms, and more. Plus, a Moa HandKnits clutch bag or two.
So as you can see, per usual, there is always a "now what" that is fresh and exciting. Wouldn’t have it any other way!
Much love,
JoAnne
